Christian & Missionary Alliance Missionaries
There are many Missionaries who are an extension of the Churches in Canada and who serve in many different parts of the world. Since we cannot know them all we simply have the opportunity to build a relationship with a few. It is our desire to take greater effort in building relationships with these few trusting also that the other Missionaries are being well taken care of by other Churches in the CMA. At any time feel free to contact and extend your greetings and help as God leads you. Consider them as one among us.RALPH and RUTH SHARESKI - Our Cluster Missionaries

Mannheim, Germany is the key city in a region called the Rhein-Neckar Triangle and is made up of 2.3 million people, all living within a 30 km radius of the centre of the city. It is a university city (approx. 15,000 students), but it is also an industrial and pharmaceutical centre. More churches are being planted than ever before and people are more open to non-state church alternatives - a hunger for a greater working of the Holy Spirit is prevalent. There is a need for a radical new generation of tent-making church planting teams. It is here that Ralph and Ruth Shareski have been serving the Lord since 1987.
During this past term, Ralph and Ruth have been involved in equipping new leadership, mentoring interns and encouraging citywide prayer, worship and evangelism. They have seen much growth numerically during this past term, mainly through conversions.
Ralph and Ruth hope to raise up more leadership, turn over significant aspects of ministry to Germans, seek to identify, equip and empower new cell leaders and launch many new cells.
They have three children: Andrew, Stephen and Krista.

Shareski's Special Guests on February 15, 2009
We had a wonderful opportunity to welcome Ralph and Ruth Shareski who are Christian and Missionary Alliance Missionaries. They serve in Mannheim Germany. They have visited us before and it will be great to see them again. We support the Shareskis and their ministry by directing funds to the Global Advance Fund. We also support them by hearing what God is doing through them and joining them in any way that God directs us.

On Home Assignment from Ecuador, Alliance Academy International
The Alliance Academy in Quito started in 1929 with eight pupils and two teachers. It now has several hundred students, the majority being from missionary families. Many nationalities are represented in the student body each year. It provides a quality North American education to missionaries from Mexico to Chile.
Birth date - July 16

Judy Warden is a missionary kid, born in Cuba. For missionaries teaching in MK schools, one of the most exciting prospects is the thrill of instructing potential missionaries. But whether students return to overseas service in later life or not, MK teachers and students have unique opportunities every day to hear about missions, pray and see the results of prayer firsthand. The goal of those who lead the schools, and the teachers themselves, is to raise children with a vision for the lost and hearts that desire to glorify God. Says Judy, "I count it a privilege to teach and minister to MKs in Ecuador."
Judy arrived in Quito in 1986 and worked for two years in the Alliance Academy Skills Center for remediation and teaching English as a Second Language. She then started teaching Grade 6 and has continued in that role, teaching Bible, language arts and social studies. She has also worked with various high school Christian Service Outreach groups that visit a local children's hospital each week and share their faith. She has taken students on five-day trips to the jungle, doing vacation Bible school type of ministry in the villages. She has also housed student teachers, and led a Grade 6 girls' Bible study after school.

GAILEEN WARDEN - Our Cluster Missionary
Service Began: October 1, 1981 - in Venezuela
Venezuela is a beautiful country with a great variety of terrain and people, including many immigrants from Europe and Latin American countries. In general the people are very friendly and fun-loving as well as hard-working. It is in this country where Gaileen Warden serves the Lord.
Birth date: January 1
Address: Apartado 66064, El Cafetal, Caracas 1061, Venezuela

Gaileen comes from a missionary family. She is one of seven children of a Canadian missionary couple who served Spanish-speaking people in Cuba and Florida. Three of her siblings are missionaries with The Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA). She felt the call of God on her life at the age of 11 in a missions conference service. Prior to her ministry with the Alliance, Gaileen served with Word of Life Fellowship in Venezuela from 1976 to 1980.
In 1981 Gaileen returned to Valencia, Venezuela, as a career missionary with the C&MA. During her first term, her ministries included discipleship and leadership training, Christian Education and youth ministries in one church, as well as in a new church plant.
Seven years later she moved to the capital city of Caracas to join fellow missionaries in a new church planting effort. She helped with the Sunday School program, the Bible Academy and music ministries. The ministry team at the church targeted the upper/middle-class segment of society--an unreached group that had been virtually untouched by the gospel. During almost all of her missionary career she has been involved in church planting and she has also helped in teaching in the Venezuelan Bible Institute.
Gaileen's vision is to continue teaching and mentoring students in the Bible institute and see more students involved in training and ministry in the Alliance churches. Most of these students are first generation Christians, ministering in first generation Alliance churches in Venezuela.
