Our Sunday Programs
Sunday Mornings is the big morning of activity. We don't see this ministry as a care giving ministry but rather as an opportunity to come alongside parents and families to grow in our knowledge and understanding of God and his world. Because we treasure children as image bearers of God we also seek to provide high standards of care and safety. All our teachers and volunteers are trained to live within our policy "Plan to Protect." It is our way of ensuring that children are cared for and safe whenever they are involved in ministry programs.
During our Sunday Morning Worship Services we offer the following classes for Children Ages 1 year to Grade 6. Each class is designed to be age appropriate.
- Age 1 year olds (12-24 months): Melissa Friesen e-mail
- Age 2 year olds (24-36 months): Lenora Napier e-mail

Plan to Protect
Our Plan to Protect Manual for Pacific has been developed with the expertise and strength of a Canadian organization Winning Kids Inc. Their materials have been used by over 2,000 organizations over the last ten years. We are very pleased and grateful to be members of the WinningKids organization who have helped us to develop policies and procedures to help us do ministry more effectively and at the same time ensuring high standards of safety and security.

Kidz Volunteers
It is our desire to love and serve the children and families of Pacific and we hope that Children's Ministry is a place where you can feel at home, empowered to serve, and fully open to express the gifts God has given you.
Those that feel the call to Children's Ministry know in their hearts the commission we have received by Christ when He says, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Mat 19:14) We have been called to bring them to His feet, to usher them into His presence, to encourage them to seek the Lord.
Whether you feel called to minister to children and you have no children, or you are a parent of a child in our programs - we would love for you to join in this adventure! Our goal is to love kids, laugh together, play together and teach God's word.
You will not be alone! You'll be supported by other volunteers as well as the Children's Ministry Leadership Team, who will keep you updated, equipped, trained, energized and empowered in your ministry.
If you are willing to consider investing in the lives of children at PCC there are many different ways to serve the ministry: through teaching, leading small groups, supervising, organizing, planning, playing, singing, childminding, toy sanitizing, sign-in; talk to a member of the Children's Ministry Leadership Team or Taya Vantol to talk about where you can be utilized or to arrange to observe in an area of interest.
