Congregational Survey (Ending Dec 31)

Our Congregational survey will be closed in a couple of weeks and we want to make sure you take the opportunity to participate.

We are looking for feedback on three key areas:

  1. On our missional direction
  2. On children's ministry
  3. On leadership at Pacific (this is tied into Jim's Doctor of Ministry Studies and directly tied into the ministry at PCC)

Who can participate? Every body is invited to participate.  Whether you have been here six months or six years your feedback will tell us something. We are interested in what you know and interested about what you think. This will help in a number of areas and focus our efforts.

Why is this important? Surveys are a handy way to help teams understand and orient ministry more wisely. They provide information in such a way that takes out some of the guesswork and challenges preconceived hunches. Moreover, the information belongs to all of us and thus becomes useful for all of us as we make decisions and shape ministry. We will post the results in January.

It helps Jim out.  I am in the midst of doing research and writing a thesis about leadership and the mission of the church. It is fascinating stuff and I could talk your ear off about it.  The fruit of this research will be reflected, hopefully, as 2012 unfolds. Although the research is seemingly academic and presently preoccupies a good chunk of my time, it has direct and immediate implications in ministry. I wouldn't do it otherwise. You involvement in the survey is really appreciated not just because it helps me out but because it helps us out as a church.

Thanks to you all who have already participated!
