Our church is hosting a historic event coming through Cloverdale on Saturday, September 23, 2017.  Joe Roberts formerly a youth that was homeless and addicted overcame his challenges and now devotes his energy to raising funds and awareness to end youth homelessness in our communities across Canada.  He has walked pushing a shopping cart (a symbol of chronic homelessness ) across Canada from Newfoundland to Vancouver.  This has been a 9000 km journey and he will be nearing the end here in Surrey.

The Cloverdale Community Kitchen, Community Living BC, and Options Community Services are partnering to host the Walk and a Rally/Carnival on Saturday, September 23rd.  The Rally will be held from 1-3 pm and participants will have a chance to meet Joe, and hear his story.

The rally event will be a family friendly rally/carnival held at Pacific and will feature a hot dog BBQ, face painting, jumping castles, a trackless train, raffle for Canucks hockey tickets and much more!

We hope to see you there!
