Senior Adults' Forum
Lately, I have been noticing a changing demographic at Pacific. Recently, a very friendly senior dropped by my office and asked, "What do we do for seniors?" There I sat wondering if I should make the most of little or simply be honest. Honesty won out. I responded, "Nothing."
Of course, the church is not like a store that must serve up programs to fit every need (at least we don't buy into concept as pastors--right Brian?). Rather, the church is a community that responds collaboratively to the needs that are present. So that is where I come in. What might be the Spirit be saying about Pacific and a ministry with and about Seniors?
So...A bit of dessert. A bit of conversation. Perhaps we together can discover a direction that engender something that adds and brings blessing.
