While they were at Lystra, Paul and Barnabas came upon a man with crippled feet. He had been that way from birth, so he had never walked. He was sitting and listening as Paul preached. Looking straight at him, Paul realized he had faith to be healed. So Paul called to him in a loud voice, “Stand up!” And the man jumped to his feet and started walking. Acts 14:8-10 NLT

"Looking straight at him. . ."  The Holy Spirit has been challenging us to look straight at people. To look people in the eyes. Sometimes it can be overwhelming to do this in a city, in a country, even in the church where we are faced with so much physical need and so much spiritual need. People's faces can become blurry. The questions 'who' and 'what' and 'how' can become so overwhelming that we avoid looking at people in the eyes and seeing that one person who believes, that one person who is open, that one person to whom the Spirit has already been whispering.  Select here to continue reading...
