The Cloverdale Christmas Hamper Program is an outreach program to the less fortunate of Cloverdale, from all walks of life, providing hampers of food & gifts in order to make the Christmas season a happy time for those who may not normally be unable to enjoy this time of year.
The Program Committee serves to carry this out is composed of people from churches and organizations in the Cloverdale Community. Pacific Community Church has hosted the hamper program in our warehouse for the past few years. Kevin and Trish Lunder, members of Pacific, are leading the committee this year.
The CCHP is now taking Hamper Applications until Fri Dec 5th. You can download the application below. The program serves the Cloverdale Area from 80th Ave – 40th Ave (North-South); 196th St – 164rd Street (East-West). If you are registered with any other hamper organizations or Christmas Bureau, we ask that you do not complete this form as we will not be able to provide a hamper for you.
Wondering how to donate to the Hamper Program?
1) Make a cash donation.
To receive a tax receipt, make cheques to Pacific Community Church. They can be dropped off in person or mailed to: CCHP c/o Pacific Community Church 5337-180 St, Surrey BC V3S 4K5
2) Collect Hamper items and drop off at PCC
Donation Suggestions: Non-perishable food items (canned veg & fruit, soup, crackers, snacks, canned meat/fish, condiments, pasta, rice, breakfast items, etc)
3) Collect gift items for children ages birth – 12. There is a need for mall or store gift cards for youth ages 13-17 as well.
If you are interested in volunteering during “Hamper Week” Mon Dec 10th – Friday Dec 14th, warehouse hours will be from 1:00 pm – 8:30 pm daily. Hamper pick-up day will be Satruday Dec 15th.
