A Message/Update from Pastor Prince

I hope all of you are staying safe during these unusual times we are facing globally. As all of you know, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused many organizations of a certain size to cancel all in-person gatherings. This has resulted in our weekly in-person Sunday morning worship services being cancelled (at this point) until March 29th. Nevertheless, at this date and time, groups of approximately 10 persons or less are still permitted to meet in person.

Towards this end, it would be awesome if we gathered in small groups to watch our online services in fellowship with each other. However, if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness or have travelled abroad recently, I would strongly implore you to self-isolate. Moreover, if you are elderly and/or have underlying respiratory or immune deficiency issues, I would suggest that you enjoy our online services from the comfort of your home. The rationale behind this suggestion stems from a place of loving concern for your health and safety.

Consequently, if you are able to gather in person to watch our services, please ensure that the following protocols are being strictly adhered to:

1. Hands are being washed and sanitized often;

2. Group members are not embracing each other physically;

3. Keep a fair, yet friendly distance;

4. Disinfect and clean surfaces before GG members arrive;

5. Ask (politely) for GG members with symptoms of illness to not attend group gatherings and encourage them to phone 811 to seek a diagnosis and get care.

Friends, meeting in person may become increasingly challenging soon. As such, I would highly recommend that you still connect with your GG participants via online platforms such as Skype or Zoom. In light of this, below you will find links with information on how to download and use Skype or Zoom on your computers and phones. It would be wise for you to send the links to your GGs as well (for those who don’t have a Skype or Zoom account already).
