It's that wonderful time of year when we can enjoy the outdoors! We invite you to join us for a barbecue and an extended time of worship together as a church family on July 27th. The time for the event is still to be determined, so please stay tuned for updates!

Come join the PCC Hiking group for our first outing of the year on Sunday June 29th, at 3PM at Lynn Canyon Park. We'll be crossing the suspension bridge and doing a relatively easy hike to get the legs back in shape! Please be prepared with weather-appropriate clothing - we'll go rain or shine!

Transformative justice is one of our values at Pacific, and the Mount Currie RSR missions trip to serve the local Native communities is a great way to live out this value. The Pacific team serving will be able to help prepare the grounds for people to come and hear the gospel at this years camp which takes place July 17-20!  If this is something you would like to get involved with, contact Sarah Mast

We're heading to Camp Kawkawa on the weekend of September 12-14 for students in Grades 6-12. Note that the price has gone up because their rate has increased. We have subsidized a portion of the registration. If finances are a barrier to a student attending, please contact Pastor Diane. This retreat is open to everyone, so please invite friends! We would love to see 30 students attend this year.

We have changed slightly how we receive the Lord’s Supper. Instead of coming forward to take the elements and returning to our seats to partake of the bread and drink from the cup after everyone has been served, we will pause to partake of the elements at the station where we receive them. There will be a basket on the aisle seat for your empty communion cup. If you prefer to continue taking it back to your seat feel free to do so. 

The primary reason for this is to create more intentional space within our worship experience for responsive prayer to what God may minister to us in our hearts as we listen to His preached word, worship Him through singing songs, listen to scriptures, and pray together, among other expressions.  Read more below for details!
