CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE

Our Christmas Eve Service will take place at
5 PM on December 24!

As is tradition, this will be our candelight service!  And, although we can't be together, let's purposely choose to find great joy in celebrating the amazing fact that the Messiah has Come!

We want to encourage you to participate with this candlelight service at home!  Take the time to find 5 candles - one for Hope, one for Faith, one for Peace and one for Joy - light those candles at the beginning of the service.  Leave one candle unlit and, as we have our Advent Reading, light that single candle and let it represent the Christ Candle!

And together, let's remember the great HOPE we have in Jesus

our FAITH that is strengthened when we wait on God

the PEACE that comes when we fully trust Him and allow Him to fill us

the JOY that comes from Jesus' arrival and through the salvation that He has given us!

Christ has Come and we serve and amazing Saviour!

Be sure to join us December 24 at 5 PM - CHRISTMAS EVE ONLINE

YEAR END GIVING

YEAR END GIVING

First of all, THANK YOU so much for your support over this past year!  Your generosity has been so very much appreciated!

Most of you have switched over to online giving ... but for those who prefer to give through cheques, we wanted to make sure you knew that you can still donate to the 2020 year by dropping off a cheque on or before December 31 - just place the offering in the mailbox outside the office entrance door.  Tracy will be collecting those at the end of the day on the 31st.

Again, thank you for your faithful gifts in support of Pacific and the Cloverdale Community Kitchen!  We are able to do ministry in a whole new way because of your love and support!  Together we continue to make a difference in our community!

4TH WEEK OF ADVENT - JOY

4TH WEEK OF ADVENT - JOY

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2020

Advent is a time of waiting, of expectation, of hope, of faith, of peace and of JOY! May we take this time during Advent to wait on God, and may we discover the true JOY in knowing Jesus as our Messiah!

The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad, the desert shall rejoice and blossom; like the crocus it shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice with joy and singing. —Isaiah 35:1-2, NRSV

Be sure to join us for our livestreaming this coming Sunday.

SUNDAYS LIVESTREAMING!

SUNDAYS LIVESTREAMING!

This Sunday, we will continue with our
Sundays Livestreaming at 10 AM.

We are following the guidelines of Dr. Bonnie Henry and our District Office, and will not be meeting as a church until further orders are given from Dr. Henry (January 8, 2021). During this time, we will be following strict Covid protocols which include masks, sanitizing and very restricted numbers onsite for our livestreaming production.

Parents - why not find 5 candles - light 3 at the beginning of the service and, while the Advent Reading takes place, participate by lighting a 4th candle.  The 5th candle will remain unlit until Christmas Eve!  This is a great way to be engaged with the service.

We are live from the sanctuary at Pacific Community Church ... straight to your home!  See you online on Sunday at 10AM!

SERMON NOTES

SERMON NOTES

Pastor Jon has prepared SERMON NOTES in a video.  These are excellent resources to take us a bit deeper into God's word as we reflect on the sermon.  These sermon notes follow along with Sunday, December 13th's sermon.  Also available are Sermon Questions to help you further reflect on God's word.

Whether you study the sermon with your Growth Group or individually - be encouraged - dig deeper - and let the Sermon Notes and Questions be a part of your spiritual formation - part of your weekly discipleship!  Let's grow together on this journey called life!

Growth Groups

Growth Groups

Here at Pacific we are committed to providing avenues for every person in our church to connect with others.

One of the primary ways that we aim to provide means for connection to occur organically is through Growth Groups, which are small groups that help us grow in Christ and in community with each other.

Our Growth Groups will have Christmas, Spring and Summer breaks and to ensure that all people at PCC have the tremendous opportunity to connect with each other, we need both group leaders and hosts.

If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Pastor Prince at Pastor Prince's Email or register here to lead or host a group!
