Temporary Closure

As you know, our world is facing the COVID-19 pandemic.  As such, we are following the guidelines from Dr. Bonnie Henry and we will not be gathering together until we have prepared our space to allow for people to gather in a safe way (up to 50).  We are looking forward to starting back up again and meeting you and your children.  Until then, we hope you have a nice, restful summer!  Hope to see you soon!

Your First Visit!

When you first arrive at Pacific Community Church, you will notice kids check in stations (180th Street entrance) where you can register your child(ren) for the first time or check in your child(ren) if you are a regular. When your children are signed in, you will receive 2 labels with the child's name and a numbering system on it.  Place one label on your child and keep the other label to use for pick up after the service.  If, at any time, your child needs your attention, the number that is on the label will flash on the bottom of the screen in the sanctuary. Simply leave the service to attend to your child's needs. We also have a viewing room for parents with younger children - so if you want to look in to the nursery area, you are welcome!

What if I don't know how to check in?

Not to worry if you have never checked in online before, there is always a friendly volunteer to help new people, or anyone with technical issues.

What happens if I'm running late?

If you are running late, not to worry!  We have a check in station available in the entrance - simply sign in and join us in the service!

What happens after check in?

Children 3 and under can go straight to his/her classroom while the children 4+ go straight to the Worship Service where you can enjoy a time of singing and reflection.  The kids are dismissed for Kids Ministry part way through the service.

What age is Kids Ministry for?

We have a nursery for ages 0-2.  Our toddler program is for 2-3 year olds.  Our preschool-kindergarten is for ages 4-5.  The Grade 1-4's are combined for initial teaching and then break into small groups for discussion.

What Program do you use?

We use Gospel Project for all ages (except nursery of course). The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered ongoing weekly Bible study resource that looks at the big picture of God's story; the story of redemption through Jesus Christ
