My wife Jeanoula and I have been married for over 40 years and are now retired. We have two adult children and two grandchildren. We began attending PCC in March 1997 (Martha Currie gym) and have been involved in a number of different ministries in the church, currently including the prayer ministry, two small groups and an Emmaus group.
We are thankful for a growing sense of community and spiritual depth in PCC in recent years. After a year off the Board I am back on this year, having served on it for eleven of the past thirteen years. I have especially appreciated the good spirit of unity I have experienced in my years on the Board, and I look forward to what God will continue to do in this period of transition.
For the last 20 years we have been residing in Walnut Grove (Langley). We do enjoy travelling, but otherwise rarely miss being in church. Currently once a year I travel to St. Petersburg, Russia to attend Board meetings of a Christian Bible school/seminary supported by a mission in Abbotsford that supports ministry in the former Soviet Union. I am on the Board of this small mission (Logos Canada Society).
I would like to remind everyone that all of us elders appreciate any feedback or questions you may have regarding the governance of the church, or needs or concerns you see in the congregation, or that you have personally. We are a family in Christ.
