BENJAMIN, KIYANA & NILA
Welcome to Benjamin, Kiyana & Nila! The picture above shows them just arriving at their suite - exhausted but happy! Please continue to pray for them as they transition into life in Canada. They have been on a very difficult journey and need our prayer support! They hope to come to church tomorrow and, although they have asked not to be officially introduced from the platform (confidentiality reasons), they want to meet you and express their sincere thanks! Please be sure to welcome them! If you would like to connect with them - perhaps take them dinner or spend an afternoon visiting - or setting up a play date with Nila and your kids, they would love to connect with you via email! Please contact the church office for their email address. joan.kroeger@pacificcommunity.ca On behalf of the Pastoral Staff and Board of Elders, thank you to the Sponsorship Team for all the work you have done to get them here! It has not gone unnoticed and we appreciate each of you! Many thanks to: Kris & Andrea (Finance Lead) Barns Once they arrived, the team has been responsible for reviewing the budget with the family, taking them shopping for groceries, applying for BCMSP and Social Insurance Numbers, finding a doctor, applying for English assessment and classes, getting their driver's licences, purchasing vehicle insurance and opening up a bank account. The checklist continues on and day by day this incredible team is getting things done. Again, our sincere thanks for all you have done and continue to do for this family!

HONOURED TO HELP!
Since the devastating floods, CCK put out a call for help on social media! The response has been amazing and through the donations that have been pouring in, CCK has been able to deliver food, clothing, diapers and toys to those affected by the flood!
This week, CCK delivered food and supplies to Indigenous Communities cut off by the flood waters and mudslides. This meant getting these supplies quickly to where it was needed most. They are delivering more food and supplies into the Fraser Valley this week. If you would to help out with this need, we are collecting the following items:
Non perishable food (peanut butter, canned vegetables, canned protein, canned fruit, rice, condiments), Diapers, New toys, Gas and grocery gift cards, Gently used clothing and shoes, Blankets.
Monetary donations can be made online at www.mycck.ca/donate Thank you for continuing to help us support those in need.
Please continue to pray for those affected by this disaster - for those who have suffered tragic loss - loss of lives and homes/businesses - for those who have been relocated to temporary shelter - for those who have no food and no way to support their families!

MOBILE MEALS DRIVERS NEEDED
CCK's Mobile Meals program is growing! On average, we deliver 650 meals each week to our seniors, low income families and those who simply can't cook for themselves. Mobile Meals is delivered Monday through Thursday (Thursday night, our clients can order 2 meals to keep one for Friday) and each night we offer a choice of a standard meat dish or a vegetarian dish. All for only $5 delivered to your door! We rely on amazing volunteers to drive these hot, nutritious meals to each home! We have a great group of drivers who are committed to driving weekly or every second week, but often find we just need one or two more drivers each night to get the meals delivered. Would you be willing to take on a route? Whether it's once a week or twice a week - or even once a month - we'd love your help! Delivering meals is so rewarding - the recipients are always thrilled to see a smiling face (behind the mask, that is). If you can help in any way, please reach out to us: 778-617-3000 OR mobilemeals@mycck.ca |

PRAYER ROOM
We are excited to be able to continue on with our Prayer Room! It will be open Monday to Friday, from 9am until 4pm and Sundays from 8am until noon! To schedule a time in the prayer room click here!
We encourage and challenge you to be intentional and come to the room and pray, however that may look for you. We have dozens of scriptures posted on the walls to encourage prayer, photos of staff and elders, maps of various locations, a wooden cross to tack sins and petitions to, art books to colour, connect your phone to the wireless speaker and worship away!
There are so many ideas for prayer in the room so push aside fear and excuses and come experience the richness of our Lord. Give him an hour - you won't regret it (except perhaps that you didn't sign up for two hours!!). Please contact kevintribe44@gmail.com if you have any further questions.
