Glory

Glory

Sermon Series

John 17:1-5 reads, “After saying all these things, Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so he can give glory back to you. 2 For you have given him authority over everyone. He gives eternal life to each one you have given him. 3 And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth. 4 I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. 5 Now, Father, bring me into the glory we shared before the world began.”

Over the next three (3) months, we will be engaging in a sermon series entitled, “Glory.” In our Glory series, we will be surveying numerous chapters of John’s Gospel. The primary focus will be to illumine our minds and hearts to be attentive to manifestations of Jesus’ glory.

Join us weekly as we unpack various passages in John’s Gospel that give us insight into Jesus’ glory magnified to the people of Israel, His first followers, and the world. Our prayer is for God to use this series of messages to help us bring glory to the Triune God in every facet of our lives.

Pie Auction Fundraiser

Pie Auction Fundraiser

Sunday, May 5, 2024

God is moving powerfully in the hearts of the next generation, and many students are encountering Jesus in a personal and intimate way. Students are becoming deeply committed, and there is increasing student involvement in our youth ministry. We believe that God has much more in store for our students and their unreached friends.

There will be a LIVE dessert auction the same time as our Pie in the Face Fundraiser on Sunday, May 5th right after the worship service to cover youth ministry costs.

We invite you to make a dessert of choice (pie, cake, pastries, etc.) for us to auction off to fundraise money for our youth ministry! Help us continue the good work we are seeing!

Please arrive at the church 15 minutes early to drop off your dessert. It would be helpful if you could make a label or sign to go with your dessert explaining what it is and if it is gluten free, dairy free, what it contains, etc.

New Growth Group

Tim and Maria Staunton are planning to start a new growth group. The group will begin by meeting once per month on Saturday evenings. We are thinking this time for meetings may appeal to parents who have challenges participating in a growth group on weeknights, due to kids' activities or work responsibilities. We will start the group by meeting at the church. We will discuss sermon questions from the previous week's sermon, which the church provides.

Please don't hesitate to connect with us if you are interested. You can contact us through Maria's email here!
