Alpha is a place to explore the Christian faith with others. Each session has a time for connection, a talk, and space to discuss and ask questions. You don't have to call yourself Christian to attend! Alpha will run on Wednesday evenings from October 1st to December 17th starting at 6:30pm at Pacific Community Church. PCC is looking for a Family Ministries Pastor to join our team to offer pastoral, visionary leadership to enhance our children’s program (newborn to Grade 5), ensuring that our kids grow as followers of Jesus through experiencing biblical education in a caring community. Our Family Ministries Pastor will lead a dedicated team of volunteers in creating engaging and impactful experiences that nurture the faith of our youngest members and support families in their faith journey.

We are also looking for a Youth Pastor to provide pastoral, visionary leadership to enhance our youth program (Grades 5 to 12). Our youth pastor will ensure that our youth grow as followers of Jesus in a fun environment.

I want to share a positive staffing update with you. After prayerfully and intentionally discerning with our church's elders, including myself, I am thrilled to share that Pastor Diane, who has faithfully served as our Youth Pastor, will be stepping into a new role as Associate Pastor of Engagement and Outreach here at Pacific Community Church.

Transformative justice is one of our values at Pacific, and the Mount Currie RSR missions trip to serve the local indigenous communities is a great way to live out this value. The Pacific team serving will be able to help prepare the grounds for people to come and hear the gospel at this years camp which takes place July 17-20!  If this is something you would like to get involved with, contact Sarah Mast

We're heading to Camp Kawkawa on the weekend of September 12-14 for students in Grades 6-12. Note that the price has gone up because their rate has increased. We have subsidized a portion of the registration. If finances are a barrier to a student attending, please contact Pastor Diane. This retreat is open to everyone, so please invite friends! We would love to see 30 students attend this year.

Beginning June 29 and continuing through September 7, we will take a break from posting sermon questions for the summer. This pause allows our community to recharge as many groups also take time off during this season. 

Maureen passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2025, surrounded by her close loved ones. We thank you for covering Maureen in prayer and we ask you to continue to pray for her loved ones as we mourn Maureen's loss.  We will update you with information about the Celebration of Life as it comes available.
