As we observe Ash Wednesday today, we invite you to take a few moments to prepare your heart for the Lenten season. This brief reflection invites you to slow down, examine your life before God, and return to Him with humility and hope. Whether Lent is a familiar rhythm for you or something new, we encourage you to read and prayerfully consider how the Lord might be inviting you deeper into this season.

We’re launching Love Cloverdale Coffee Time on Mondays from 10:30am–1:00pm at the food bank! As families wait to collect their food, our team will offer coffee, conversation, and care—creating space to share Christ’s love and build meaningful relationships with our neighbours. Our Baptism Class is designed to walk you through the biblical foundation, spiritual significance, and practical details of baptism. Whether you’re new to faith, have recently said yes to Jesus, or are simply exploring next steps, this class is for you.

Many people are walking with mental health challenges, and as a church community we want to be a place of care, safety, and support. The Sanctuary Course invites us to learn how we can walk alongside one another with compassion and understanding.

30 Days of Prayer for the Muslim World is a global prayer event during Ramadan. The 30 Days of Prayer for the Muslim World booklet, can help you learn about Muslim people groups all over the world and helps guide prayers specific to their physical and spiritual needs. There will be booklets available in the sanctuary. If all of the booklets are taken, there are PDFs available here, including one for kids.

Our Sunday mornings don’t just happen—they’re made possible by people who quietly (and cheerfully!) help others feel welcomed and cared for. We’re looking for additional ushers to serve on Sunday mornings and be part of this important ministry of hospitality.

Our sermon series is called “Together: God’s Design for Relationships and Community.” We believe relationships are at the centre of God’s design for humanity from marriage to singleness to friendships. God calls us to live connected lives that reflect His love. We’ll explore how the gospel reshapes our relationships, how we handle conflict and reconciliation, and how the church becomes a spiritual family to all.

This year, our church is excited to be part of the Cloverdale Rodeo Parade, and to make this possible we’re inviting our church family to help by providing an 8x20 ft flat deck trailer or truck, a power generator suitable for outdoor sound equipment, outdoor space to store materials and build the float, and volunteers to help with construction.
