Hello Pacific!  We really do miss seeing you each week, but, we are grateful for the technology that keeps us together online.  Thank you to Pastor Alex and his filming/editing crew who make this possible each week!   We hope to see you tomorrow, Sunday, June 7, for Trinity Sunday!  Brendan Weidner will be preaching.  At the end of the service we partake in Communion together.  Please take the time to prepare for that beforehand.

YOUNG LIFE FRASER VALLEY FONDO - SATURDAY, JUNE 27, 2020
A NOTE FROM BILL HARRINGTON

I will be riding in the Young Life Fondo on Saturday, June 27th to support the ongoing work of Young Life. 

Our team fundraising goal is still $10,000 and my personal fundraising goal is $4000. I will be riding the 100 km route and have $1,000 in donations so far and trust that, with a few more donations toward this work, I can meet or exceed my fundraising goal.

We'd love to hear from you!  How are you doing?  How are you managing through this Covid season?  We want to keep up to date with you especially when you need someone to help you or to pray with you or simply talk to. But we would also like to hear stories about how you are coping through this very unique season we are in.

Cloverdale Community Kitchen is on a roll!  Literally!  We are now rolling out mobile meals every night of the week!

Can you help us?

We know that the best way to advertise is through word of mouth - so if you know of someone who could use a fresh, nutritious meal delivered to their doorstep, have them give us a call at 778-617-3000 (EXT. 2). 

We are so sure that they will LOVE our delivery service and our "made from the heart" meals, that we are willing to offer them
the first meal for FREE! 

We have an amazing opportunity to help feed our community on a much broader scale than our onsite meals.  Our Mobile Meals program started on April 8 and it has literally taken off!  We are so grateful for the volunteers who have been driving meals to various homes on a weekly basis!  Thank you for serving in this way!

Some drivers have had to step down which has opened up an opportunity for others to take on this role.  If you would like to be a volunteer driver for one night a week - that would be fabulous!  If you'd like to drive two nights a week, that would be even more fabulous!  And, if you'd like to drive even more, that would be amazing!  We are currently short on Friday night drivers.

What's required?  Our volunteer drivers need to arrive at PCC by 5:15.  We have all the meals prepared and ready to go shortly after that.  We will give you all the containers and bags, along with a list of names and addresses where each meal is to be delivered.  And then you are ready to roll!  It's a simple as that. It is a very rewarding way to serve!

Cloverdale Community kitchen opened a food bank just a few short months ago.  Thousands of pounds of food arrive each week - fresh vegetables, bread, dairy, canned goods, boxed goods, etc.   And now our warehouse has become a very busy workspace throughout the week as volunteers come and go sorting and packing and preparing for our Food Bank days (Mondays 5-6:30PM and Thursdays 10-11:30AM). 

It really is an amazing experience to watch people come and go on Food Bank days ... they come with empty bags and leave with so many blessings of food!  God is so very good ... all the time.  He is using us immensely during this very difficult Covid season - He is giving us opportunities to share His love with those who come - a mission field right in our parking lot - and we are so grateful!

We repair bikes for those in need.  We repair bikes for anyone in the community for a donation towards the bike shop.  And we take donated bikes in any condition.  Thank-you to everyone who is supporting this ministry!  

Pregnancy Options has launched their Operation Baby Bottle Campaign and they invite you to participate with their fundraising endeavours.  Due to Covid they won't be able to distribute the baby bottles for us to fill, but instead, they have moved to an online giving platform.  Their goal is to raise $90,000.
