Our Mobile Meals keeps growing (amazing, isn't it?) and as it grows we have a great need for more drivers! 

We are very short on drivers, especially during the summer months.  Why not try it out?  Sign up for one night - help us out - and if you like it, come back again to take on more nights.  You can do this just once in the summer or take on a route once a week for the summer.

We are very excited that we will be able to welcome Benjamin, Kiyana & Nila to Canada very soon!  A huge thank you to so many of you who have purchased items for this family!  There are a few items that we still need to provide for them when they arrive so if you would like to donate any of these, please let Joan know.  Or if you know of a company who can donate any of the larger items (ie beds) please let us know.  This will help us stay within our budget for the year of sponsorship.  All items can be dropped off at the church and we will store them until they arrive.  Thank you for helping out in this way!

We are hiring a Family Ministries Pastor as well as Youth Pastor!  Please be in prayer as we seek to find the right individual.  For details on the positions we are hiring for, please click on the link below.

We want to be a church that prays for each other, for our community and for our ministries. And as we pray, we want to give praise to God for how He is answering our prayers!  Would you be willing to join us as we intentionally pray and give praise to God?   

We will have prayer available after each in person service! If you have a need, we'd love to pray with you and for you!

BENJAMIN, KIYANA & NILA:  Please pray for them as they wait for their travel arrangements to be made.  They are anxious about getting out of Turkey and they need our prayer support!  Please also pray that we will be able to find a place for them to quarantine and to live.  Praise God for this good news that they will be coming soon!

SUMMER CAMPS:  Summer camps are going well - so many kids from our community!  Please pray for the children coming - that they may encounter Jesus!  Pray for Chelsea as she leads and for volunteers who are helping.  Give praise to God for the opportunity to do this during covid!

The Brandon Wallace Memorial Bursary is a $500 cash award to be given to a student intending to undertake post-secondary education at a University, College, Bible College, Seminary or Vocational School. 

The award is available to ANY student attending Pacific Community Church and who plans to begin a new course of post-secondary study in the fall, no matter what age.

Brandon was a cherished member of Pacific who died tragically one morning (Feb 1, 2006) while cycling to school.  This bursary was set up in his memory. The bursary is offered to inspire and encourage those who are shaped by a contagious desire to serve and follow Christ all the days of their lives.

This coming Sunday, July 25, Pastor Shem, Assistant Pastor at Sonrise Church, will be preaching.  Shem's life is a testimony to the goodness, faithfulness, and power of God. He was drawn in, saved, and called into Sonrise church and is now walking out his calling as Assistant Pastor there. He is passionate about seeing people encounter God and come into a life-changing relationship with Him.

Well, kids, we are super excited that we are officially back!!  This coming Sunday, July 25, there WILL BE a kids' program for kids Grades 1-4 as well as kids Ages 2 to Kindergarten!  Two separate classes filled with games, crafts and a lesson from God's Word.  We will be going through the Fruit of the Spirit!  Join us and let's learn together and have fun reconnecting!

Please note that on Sunday, August 1, we won't be having a kids program due to it being the long weekend.

Parents, the nursery and toddler rooms will be open on Sunday, during the service, should you want to take your child(ren) there.  During the summer months, there won't be any supervision for newborn to age 2, but you are welcome to use the rooms at any time during the service.

We continue to livestream our services at 10 AM each week.  We'd love to see you face-to-face in the sanctuary, but if you aren't able to make it, please know that we are still here for you online.  This week Tracy Cudmore will be hosting the online service - chat room opens at 9:45 AM.
