CCK'S CHRISTMAS HAMPERS

CCK'S CHRISTMAS HAMPERS

CCK/Cloverdale Christmas Hamper Program needs your help!

  1. Volunteer assistance needed on Dec. 9 and 10: we need help setting up tables and organizing donations at Hope Community Church (18625 Fraser Hwy) for our 'Free Store' day for hamper/food bank clients. Email Melanie at hampers @mycck.ca for this volunteer opportunity.

  2.  Food Hamper packing and delivery: packing timeslots available from Dec. 13-16. Hamper delivery timeslots available on Dec. 18. Signups for this will be online through the CCK and Better Impact websites. Go to mycck.ca/startvolunteering to get registered and sign up for a timeslot.

  3. Donations needed: Toys need to be new and unopened, gift cards and toiletries also welcome. Our food bank is currently sending food out for flood relief so we desperately need to refill our non perishable shelves for Christmas.

If you have any questions, please contact Melanie:  hampers@mycck.ca

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE

4:30 PM AND 6 PM

As we reflect on this past year, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the amazing Saviour that we serve!  As a church and as a staff, we have seen so many God moments throughout the year where we have cried out to Him and He has answered!  Our hearts are grateful for His continued blessing on us.

As we look forward to our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, we are, once again, filled with gratefulness for the amazing Gift of Jesus who was sent to save us!  We invite you to join us for our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service.  We have planned two beautiful services filled with carols, scripture reading and a message from God's word!  The services will be at 4:30 PM and 6 PM and we'd love to see you there!

As we are still under the Covid restrictions, we are allowed to have 50% of our sanctuary capacity at each service (275).  We want to be sure that everyone gets a seat so we are asking you to register for the service you plan to come to.  Let us know how many will come.

SIGN UP FOR OUR 4:30 PM CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE

SIGN UP FOR OUR 6:00 PM CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE

Although we are still under Covid restrictions and are following the District guidelines that have been given to us, we believe there is still room to invite a friend.  Perhaps there is someone in your circle who doesn't know our Saviour!  Why not take this opportunity to ask them to join you!   Looking forward to being together for this special service!

Our 6 PM service will also be Livestreamed.

~Pastor Jon

RAISING MONEY FOR A BETTER TOMORROW!

RAISING MONEY FOR A BETTER TOMORROW!

CNOY - FEBRUARY 26 - WILL YOU WALK WITH US?

Hello Church Family!  Our Coldest Night of the Year takes place on Saturday, February 26 and we are looking for caring, compassionate people like you to take to the streets yet again in support of the Cloverdale Community Kitchen - help us raise support to help people who are  experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.

Together we CAN make a difference!

PCC will be putting together their very own team (more details to come on Saturday)!  You will be able to sign up to walk with PCC'ers- a great time to join together for a very worthy cause!

If you are not able to walk but you would like to donate now, you can do so directly here:   CIRQUE DU SORE LEGS TEAM

All money donated goes directly to CCK.

Or if you would like to be the captain of your own team - perhaps sign up your coworkers, sign up here!   Be sure to search for Cloverdale Community Kitchen.

As always, your generosity matters. Your fundraising matters. You matter. Let’s work together to bring those in our community one step closer to being fed and off the streets.  If you have already signed up - THANK YOU!  If you have already donated - THANK YOU!

MOBILE MEALS DRIVERS NEEDED

MOBILE MEALS DRIVERS NEEDED

CCK's Mobile Meals program is growing!  On average, we deliver 650 meals each week to our seniors, low income families and those who simply can't cook for themselves.  Mobile Meals is delivered Monday through Thursday (Thursday night, our clients can order 2 meals to keep one for Friday) and each night we offer a choice of a standard meat dish or a vegetarian dish.  All for only $5 delivered to your door!

We rely on amazing volunteers to drive these hot, nutritious meals to each home!  We have a great group of drivers who are committed to driving weekly or every second week, but often find we just need one or two more drivers each night to get the meals delivered.  Would you be willing to take on a route?  Whether it's once a week or twice a week - or even once a month - we'd love your help!  Delivering meals is so rewarding - the recipients are always thrilled to see a smiling face (behind the mask, that is).  If you can help in any way, please reach out to us:  778-617-3000 OR mobilemeals@mycck.ca

Please continue to pray for those affected by this disaster - for those who have suffered tragic loss - loss of lives and homes/businesses - for those who have been relocated to temporary shelter - for those who have no food and no way to support their families!
