Lent just started this past Wednesday, and we encourage you to FAST with us as a church for 40 days leading up to Easter. It could be a meal of the day, certain foods, social media, etc., and replace that time with pressing in on Jesus Christ.  Click on the link below, to watch Pastor Jon share a lent discipleship moment! 

One week ago today we were getting set up to walk the streets of Cloverdale in support of CNOY!  

We had an amazing turn out - and we surpassed our fundraising goal and raised $232,000 for CCK.

We had 70 team captains and 489 walkers sign up and dozens of volunteers helping us each step of the way!  An amazing outpouring of love and support from our community!

 Hey PCC! On April 10th at 12:15 pm, we are going to be having an all-ages, church-wide Sports Day Event at Don Christan Park!   

This is a competitive teamwork event where you will be split into teams and battle it out for the ultimate prize - bragging rights and a medal!   Some of the events you’ll be participating in are a tug of war, three-legged race, wheelbarrow race, sponge relay, and so many more! We will also have lunch, water, and snacks provided for anyone who comes out.  Please pre-register at the link below for you and anyone else you’re bringing out to the event.

Our newcomers family – Benjamin, Kiyana, and Nila – are adjusting well to life here in Canada. It was great to see so many of you at our Family Day walk at Houston Trail interacting with our new family. In saying that, we would like to encourage you continue to connect with Benjamin, Kiyana, and Nila as they continue to familiarize themselves with Canadian life and culture. Please consider the possibility of connecting with them over a meal, park hangouts, walks, etc. If you feel compelled to deepen your relationship with our newcomer family, please reach out to Pastor Prince at at prince.thomas@pacificcommunity.ca and he will gladly arrange for you to connect with Benjamin, Kiyana, and Nila.

With that said, we wanted to let you know that the C&MA National Ministry Centre is set up to receive donations for Ukraine Relief HERE!

As you know, here at PCC, we believe the Lord is continuing to call us to lean in through prayer in this season.  As we did in October, we will once again be hosting the prayer room for a focused week of prayer from March 27th to April 3rd.  The prayer room is a comfortable, warm and inviting space that has been created with the intention of entering into a deep conversation with our Creator!

PCC’s leadership team is devoted to seeing our GGs thrive and excel and we are committed to providing opportunities for you–our GG leaders, hosts and coaches–to receive further training to ensure that you are in a position to continue to offer excellent leadership to the GGs you facilitate.  We have planned 2 equipping and training opportunities that we would love for all of our group leaders and hosts to attend. We are diving into a new sermon series that is based off of our second value at PCC, Spiritual Formation. We will be spending a number of weeks in the OT book of Daniel to see how the people of God engaged in Spiritual Formation while they were exiles in the foreign land of Babylon. Through this deep look into scripture, we will be asking the big question, how can the church engage in Spiritual Formation within a secular society? I believe this series will help us press in on the Lord for his guidance in how we can be a Faithful Presence in such a time as this.
