PrayerNew Sermon Series As a church, we believe that God has called us to pursue intimacy with Him as we aim to make a lasting impact for Him in the world in our time and context. One of the primary avenues that God has blessed us with to continually grow in our faith and relationship with Him is through prayer. Considering this, our church has been and will continue to emphasize the centrality of assuming a prayerful heart and posture in all that we seek to do in Jesus’ name and for His fame in our society. To deepen our awareness of the necessity of prayer and to encourage us to seek God prayerfully in our lives, we will be engaging in a summer preaching series entitled, Prayer: A Beautiful Invitation Worth Pursuing. In our series of talks, we will explore multiple expressions of prayer that God makes available to us and we will address how we can cultivate prayerfulness in our families. We invite you to join us weekly as we respond to God’s invitation to dwell in His presence through prayer. For more infomation visit:

Thank You Zipporah!
Hi Pacific, I hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer season and are staying cool during these hot days. I am reaching out to let you know that Zipporah Hantke has felt led by the Lord to resign from her role as our Holistic Ministries Lead. We encourage you to read a heartfelt letter below, written by Zipporah to her church family. Over the last couple of years, our church has had the privilege of having Zipporah serve as a valued member of our staff team in this integral capacity. God has used Zipporah powerfully to bless many people through numerous acts of service, which include:
We have truly been made more into the image of Jesus as a community through Zipporah’s efforts to be His hands and feet in our world. Please be praying for Zipporah and her family as they commit to faithfully responding to God’s promptings and direction. We are excited to see how God will use her in this next season. In the next few weeks, we will be hosting a celebratory event to express our immense gratitude to Zipporah for serving God and His people so faithfully here at Pacific. Please be on the lookout for the confirmed details for this event. Over the next few weeks, our leadership team will work with the holistic ministries team established by Zipporah to establish our next steps for this central ministry. Would you also pray for wisdom throughout this process? As always, we covet all your prayers! In Christ, For more infomation visit:

A Word From Zipporah
Dear PCC, I have made the decision to step away from my role as Holistic Ministries Team Lead. The opportunity to serve in this capacity has been a gift. I have enjoyed listening, learning and growing in relationships with colleagues and with the friends I've made through the ministry of CCK. The decision to leave this role came about through discerning what's next for our family and where God is leading us into future endeavours. We are taking a step of faith into seeking the new thing we are being called to. Though we do not know what that is specifically, we are making the space to explore and partner with others, trusting God has put gifts and passions within us to continue to serve the world He so loves. The formation and growth through these past few years is spurring me on toward next steps and we are so thankful for everyone who is loving, encouraging and praying for us through this. These past few years have been marked by unexpected and beautiful relationships. I have been blessed with meeting so many diverse people from the community. They have enriched my life with their presence and stories and I have know the joy of loving and being loved. I treasure the gift and honour of being part of so many lives and pray and trust many of these relationships will continue. Thank you to Prince, the staff, the CCK team and volunteers, my team partners in Holistic Ministries, my church family and my family for the patience, support, trust and love to embrace this opportunity. I am not the same person because of it and that is a beautiful thing. With sadness and excitement, I am saying goodbye to this role so I can say yes to continuing this work in some new, yet to be determined, capacity. I truly trust this is God's timing to step out and take a risk and ask for continued prayers for our family. May the Holy Spirit continue to stir all our hearts and renew all our minds as we seek to follow Jesus, one day at a time, in all the gifts and passions entrusted us, and enter with boldness and joy into the new creation work set before us, to the glory of our God and our Father. Amen. Love in Christ, For more infomation visit:
