Sanctuary Mental Health CourseSanctuary Mental Health Course According to the Canadian Mental Health Association, all Canadians will be affected by mental health problems at some point in their lives, either through personal experience or that of someone they love. Individuals affected by mental health problems will often seek help from spiritual leaders first. If people are turning to us for help, then we need to be prepared to provide it! The Sanctuary Course was created to raise awareness and start conversations in local churches regarding mental health. |

MOBILE MEALS - SPONSORS NEEDED The Covid 19 struggles are deep and unsettling and the outcry for help is higher than we have ever faced at Cloverdale Community Kitchen. So, while others are having to scale back, we are pressing forward with bigger dreams of coming alongside to help so many more who are genuinely in need at this particular time. We have just launched 2 new programs: CCK Mobile Meals and our Food Bank! Jake & Courtney UpdateHello from the other side! (of the world)
Some of you may or may not have heard that Jake and I had plans to return home to Canada on April 7th, however due to COVID-19, our flight got cancelled. Through efforts to get a refund, our travel agent informed us that we could re book with the same airline free of cost. We then re booked our flight to April 16th and we were hopeful that it would happen but also aware that it could get cancelled. Five days before the flight I looked on our airlines website and they had announced that they are suspending all flights until the end of April, and they are hoping to continue flights in May. Our flight is now re booked for May 17th!
