We'd love to hear from you!  Send a short video clip and show us how you are spending your time?  Do you bake?  Send us a clip of your favourite dessert!  Do you sew?  Show us what your latest project is?  Are you garedening or reading - riding a bike or learning a new language?  We'd LOVE to see! Send in the videos through Google Drive, One Drive to front.desk@pacificcommunity.ca.  Or, send to Pacific's Facebook Messenger.  We might even share it on one of our Midweek Updates! And rumour has it that the most creative video will get a $25 gift card to Starbucks!

MOBILE MEALS - SPONSORS NEEDED

The Covid 19 struggles are deep and unsettling and the outcry for help is higher than we have ever faced at Cloverdale Community Kitchen.

So, while others are having to scale back, we are pressing forward with bigger dreams of coming alongside to help so many more who are genuinely in need at this particular time.

We have just launched 2 new programs: CCK Mobile Meals and our Food Bank! We are asking for your help to feed and support the seniors and families who are suffering so greatly during this Covid 19 crisis.  Would you be willing to sponsor a meal or two?  Or would you be willing to sponsor a family of 5 with groceries for the week?  We continue to be here for our Community!

For over 6 months, we planned and prepared to open up a Food Bank for our community and beyond!  We are grateful for the support of our sponsors and the many volunteers who poured their time into making this happen!  On March 1, 2020 we opened up for the first time!

What we didn't realize when we were planning this, was that our Food Bank has now become a necessity for those in our community.  Many from our community would bus their way to pick up groceries from another Food Bank and now, during Covid19, those people are scared to go on the bus.  Now, our community can walk or bike here to get groceries.

We are excited to announce the launch of our new Cloverdale Community Cycles just in time for Spring and Summer!

We repair bikes for those in need.  
We repair bikes for anyone in the community for a donation towards the bike shop. 
And we take donated bikes in any condition.

The Covid-19 Pandemic is affecting all of us and some of us more than others. We want to keep up to date with you especially when you need someone to help or to pray or to simply talk to. But we also would like to hear stories about how you are coping with the social isolation as we keep our distance from each other.

We continue to be amazed and grateful at the connections that we are having in our social/physical distance reality.  Like many of you, we are feeling the fatigue from the number of video calls we are having but we are also filled with gratitude as we see God moving beyond the physical to both care for and grow us deeper. We are learning to navigate these days in isolation in new ways as we stay home and still stay engaged with our friends and family here in Mexico City and beyond.
