Here at Pacific, we deeply value Spiritual Formation, the work of the Holy Spirit transforming us into the character of Jesus Christ.  This summer we are continuing in our Spiritual Formation value by looking at a different biblical character each week for insight into their journey with God. Please join us at Pacific this summer as we lean into the work of the Spirit to transform us into the likeness of the Son, Jesus.

With summer being so busy and often we just need to get going after the service, so we have decided to move the coffee ministry to 9:30 AM!!

Through the summer, we invite you to come a bit early and enjoy a light continental breakfast with your coffee while you visit with others before the service!

On August 21st, we are excited to welcome guest speaker Mark Peters, our C&MA district superintendent. He will be speaking on the life of Esther as we continue our summer series, The Sacred Journey.

Mark has been involved in pastoral ministry for 23 years, serving on the staff team at First Alliance Church (Calgary) and then as Lead Pastor at North Shore Alliance Church for 13 years. Mark is passionate about Scripture and theology; he is particularly interested in the intersection between Christ and Culture. Mark is a strategic thinker and a collaborative leader who enjoys identifying, equipping, and empowering others.

In a world caught in loneliness and broken relationships, two filmmakers set out on a journey to investigate the cause. While discovering that belonging is what we all need, the two begin to see the surprising and hidden effects that trauma and shame play in distancing us from each other. Their discoveries, which lead them to look into their own lives, set the stage for this real, gripping, and inspiring journey into the soul - inviting us to dive into our own stories and take steps toward the lives we've always longed for.

Beginning July 24th until August 21st, PCC is invited to practically support Youth Unlimited Young Families through a Diaper Drive.

Young Families Surrey has existed for approx. 20 years and supports any young parent needing relational or practical support. One tangible way this ministry supports the parents each week is by providing diapers and wipes. They often run out of the high demand sizes and have limited stock of wipes. It’s simple yet makes a HUGE difference for the parents!

You can bring a box (or 2) of diapers and/or wipes and drop them off to the box at the back of the church sanctuary!

Note: specific sizes are requested as they are high demand
*  Size 5 & 6
*  Size 2-3T Pull ups & 3-4T pulls up
*  baby wipes

*Preferred diaper brands: Huggies or Rascal & Friends
*Please label your donation "Youth Unlimited Diaper Drive"

Please join us on August 28th for our summer baptisms!

We will support and witness those who are ready for the great plunge into the ocean waters of baptism as they publically declare their decision to follow the risen Christ. We will leave directly following the service and the baptisms will take place at approximately 12:15 PM at Sullivan Point Park, Crescent Beach!

As you know, we sponsored a lovely Iranian family and we now have another great opportunity to support and encourage Benjamin as he works to get his business off the ground and grow his brand! 

Benjamin is a gifted makeup artist and is currently looking for anyone who would love to be pampered with a free makeup session!  He is gathering makeup models for his business porfolio which will be posted to social media.
