Hospitality occurs in significant ways at PCC. The Hospitality Ministry includes our communion servers, greeters and ushers, and those who offer various supports during our worship and other services.  These individuals are often the first contacts with those walking through our doors! Would you consider joining the Hospitality Team and greeting newcomers on Sunday mornings? 

We also really need another 6 individuals to join our communion serving team (couples or singles) and 4 individuals to join our communion prep team! Please think about this and let us know if you might be interested. 

Marisa and Prince Thomas have welcomed their baby boy, Kaius Thomas! This mealtrain is a tangible way of loving them well, and supporting them through the first few weeks of ups and downs, joys and tiredness as they adjust to being a family of 3. Thanks in advance for the giving of time, love and care extended to the Thomases!

Our Alpha for Women series will run Thursday nights, 7pm-8:30pm starting September 21st until December 14th, with a break November 16th due to our Alpha retreat day which will be on Saturday, November 18th.

On Sunday, September 24th our church will be celebrating a new year of ministry with a FAMILY FUN FAIR! Carnival games, an awesome 9 hole mini golf, bouncy castles, face painting, photobooth, popcorn, cotton candy and of course our annual Pacific Youth Hot Dog Fundraiser!!

We invite all 55+ to join us for fellowship as we have a time of worship together and a potluck lunch on Thursday, September 28th from 11am until 1pm. Pastor Paula will be joining us as she takes the "hot seat" to be interviewed by the 55+ Group lead team!! Click on the link below to RSVP!

On October 1st at 11:30 am, you are invited to a meeting of PCC members and attendees to approve the PCC budget for our new fiscal year (Sept '23 - Aug '24).  This is a great opportunity to learn more about our financial picture and what the future looks like for our ministry together.  Everyone is invited and we encourage participation in our Q&A time!    

Pacific is blessed to have Children's and Student Ministry classes, programs and events for ages 6 months to Grade 12!  Participation in these ministries requires parent/guardian consent for the safety of everyone participating in these ministries. Each fall, we ask families to register their children in order to make sure we have the most up-to-date information for the coming ministry year. This helps us not only provide a safe environment, but also to plan lessons, staff classrooms and ensure we have optimal group structures.

 Are you a guy? Do you like to eat? If you answered yes, then please RSVP for our Men's Ministry Breakfast happening on October 14th at 9am. We will be hearing from Dave Klassen, Director of Athletes in Action and the chaplain for the Vancouver Canucks and BC Lions.

This breakfast is the perfect opportunity for getting to know other men in our church family. During our time together you will receive tasty food, awesome fellowship and great conversation!  

This fall we have the opportunity to grow spiritually through a number of new PCC U courses! The first course is taking place here at PCC on Saturday, October 21st, from 9am to 12pm, with Isaac Munnalall titled "Sharing Our Faith to Muslims".  For more information and to register click on the link below!

This Fall, we are excited to introduce Family services!  Every 5-week month, our ministry teams will be inviting kids to assist in worship services.  Through Scripture reading, corporate prayer, praise and worship, communion serving etc., children in Preschool-Grade 5 will have opportunities to participate in our Sunday worship gatherings. 

Our first Family Service will be Sunday, October 29th!  Children in Preschool-Grade 5 will be invited to join families in the service on this date.  We value our kids and the gifts they bring to our PCC community!

This fall we will be looking at the book of Ephesians following a theme titled, “ONE”.

The reality is that we live in a time of world instability and shifting culture. The Church sits in a unique position of having both a stable foundation upon which we live and a secure identity. Our foundation and our identity are Christ. The Lord Jesus, therefore, is our ONE foundation, cornerstone and focus. The book of Ephesians is an important letter for the church for a time such as this; when so much is up in the air. Ephesians reminds us that we aren’t to feel lost in that frightful, turbulent air but we are indeed found, alive, and in Christ. Join us each Sunday morning as Pastor Jon preaches through Ephesians until October 15th and as we continue through this wonderful letter until Advent.

The Book of Ephesians is a survival manual—it equips believers to thrive in a world that hates the message of Jesus Christ. Paul the Apostle writes to encourage believers to live well—we've been lifted from the graveyard of sin and called to shout the gospel into the darkened world. 

Pastor and author J.D. Greear walks through the powerful words of Paul. In 9 sessions, J.D. digs into the text of Ephesians verse-by-verse and challenges believers to live out the gospel. If the people of your city, of your school, of your family are going to hear the gospel, it's going to be from your mouth. Encounter Ephesians, and get swept up into the story of Jesus.
