Fall Sermon Series

Fall Sermon Series

This fall we are looking at the book of Ephesians following a theme titled, “ONE”.

The reality is that we live in a time of world instability and shifting culture. The Church sits in a unique position of having both a stable foundation upon which we live and a secure identity. Our foundation and our identity are Christ. The Lord Jesus, therefore, is our ONE foundation, cornerstone and focus. The book of Ephesians is an important letter for the church for a time such as this; when so much is up in the air. Ephesians reminds us that we aren’t to feel lost in that frightful, turbulent air but we are indeed found, alive, and in Christ. Join us each Sunday morning as we continue through this wonderful letter until Advent.

We will wrap up the series this Sunday, November 19th with our very own Mike Richardson who will be preaching on Ephesians 5:21-33. We hope this series has been a blessing to you as we have explored what it means to be ONE in christ, in our time and context.

Growth Group Spotlight

Growth Group Spotlight

The Family Growth Group meets bi-weekly on Friday's from 6-9pm with a potluck dinner followed by a video and discussion.

This group will be going through an 8 part course by Connected Families titled “Discipline That Connects With Your Child’s Heart”. For more info click on the link below.

We would love to engage with this material as a community, as we seek to do the difficult work of parenting our children with grace, in the way God parents us. Our children all attend small group with us; they join us for dinner and then play together while the adults do the study. We recognize the time and capacity constraints on most parents, so we try to be flexible and ‘homework’ free. Please join us – we would love to have you!

Please contact Shiyara at shiyara.ran@gmail.com for further information and for details on our next meeting.

Faith Foundations

What thoughts come to mind when you think of God? Do you wonder what he's like, what he thinks about you, or what he wants for you? The good news is that we don't have to go far to find answers. God tells us all we need to know about who he is and what he’s like—about his heart—and why that matters for our lives. In this six-session series, author Francis Chan takes students on a journey of discovery to the heart of God. Students will walk away knowing God better and loving him more.

The Big Church Binge

The Big Church Binge

Are you familiar with THE CHOSEN? If you’re unfamiliar with it, THE CHOSEN is a historical drama based on the life of Jesus, seen through the eyes of those who knew Him. Set against the backdrop of Jewish oppression in first-century Israel, the seven-season show shares an authentic and intimate look at Jesus's revolutionary life and teachings.

The vision of the Big Church Binge is to have congregations across Canada gather together and invite their community to catch up on Season 3 this Fall and Winter in preparation for Season 4 releasing in theatres in February 2024! We are encouraging our congregation and Growth Groups here at PCC to watch episodes together, weekly, with discussion and prayer afterwards. Our prayer is that an incredible number of people will experience Jesus for the first time, or see their faith renewed. May it be all for His Glory.

Join the Hospitality Team!

Join the Hospitality Team!

Hospitality occurs in significant ways at PCC. The Hospitality Ministry includes our communion servers, greeters and ushers, and those who offer various supports during our worship and other services.  These individuals are often the first contacts with those walking through our doors! Would you consider joining the Hospitality Team and greeting newcomers on Sunday mornings?

We also really need another 6 individuals to join our communion serving team (couples or singles) and 4 individuals to join our communion prep team! Please think about this and let us know if you might be interested.
