Dear Church,

We are excited to announce that Jon Imbeau will be candidating for the lead pastor of PCC from August 4 to 16.  Jon, along with his wife Debbie and their 4 children have been journeying with the pastoral search team and the board of elders and are excited to step into this final process with God’s leading.

Attached you will find the lead pastor profile, details of candidation events and an introduction to Jon and his family.

The Process
In January of 2019, the pastoral search team, commissioned by the board, screened applicants for the lead pastor position of PCC according to a profile which focused on preaching, leadership and discipleship, pastoral care, and personal growth.  Jon Imbeau stood out among a large field of applicants and was recommended by the search team to the board along with 1 other candidate.  With prayer and discernment, the board selected Jon as the lead candidate in February 2020.  Jon and Debbie have also sensed the call to ministry at PCC and are enthusiastic about the possibility of leading our church.  The disruption of Covid-19 caused some delays in this process, but God’s faithfulness has continued.  The board is excited for PCC to meet Jon and discern if God is calling him and his family into ministry at PCC.
