Serving Our City with the Love of Jesus
Cloverdale isn't just where we gather. It's who we're called to love!

Love Cloverdale is our ongoing initiative to bless, serve, and reach the people in our neighbourhoods through acts of compassion, generosity, and practical support. As followers of Jesus, we believe we're called to be the hands and feet of Christ in our city, meeting real needs and pointing people to real hope.

DECEMBER PRAYER CALENDAR

As we pray for the people on the calendar, here are suggestions of ways to pray for them:

Pray for God to convict of sin and draw people to himself (Acts 2:37-38; John 6:44)
It is only through the knowledge of one’s sinful state and subsequent repentance that a person turns to Jesus and is saved. Jesus said that the only way people will come to him is if God draws them.

Pray for the cross to be unveiled (2 Corinthians 3:16-17)
False religions and deceptive ideologies have blinded people to the truth of the Gospel. Pray that the veil on minds and spirits will be taken away, that lies will be exposed, and people will see and understand the mystery of the cross.

Pray for bold proclamation (Colossians 4:2-5)
Pray for PCC, and that each of us would proclaim the message of the Gospel clearly, making the most of every opportunity God places before us.

Pray for good soil (Matthew 13:3-8)
Pray that hearts would be good soil, ready to hear the Gospel and respond. Pray that hard soil would be softened to become good soil.

Pray that we will long for people’s salvation (Romans 10:1)

Pray that we won’t become complacent and forget that people are lost without Jesus. May we be like the Apostle Paul who said that the longing of his heart was that his people might be saved.

Pray that someone will share the gospel with them (Romans 10:13-14)

Ask God to give you (and other believers) opportunities to share the gospel with the people you’re praying for. Ask God to let you share the Gospel with someone this week.

Ask the Holy Spirit to pray through you (Romans 8:26-27)

Sometimes we don’t even know how to pray for the lost people in our lives. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you as you pray. When you run out of words, ask the Spirit to pray for them because he will pray exactly what they need in harmony with God’s will.

When you pray for the people on your calendar, pray also for our international workers and the unreached people groups among whom they are working. Some who have visited PCC this year are:

Paul & Janelle in North Africa

Why We Love Cloverdale

Our mission is to bring the light and love of Jesus beyond the walls of our church building. Cloverdale is full of familities, individuals, and stories. Some joyful, others broken. Through simple acts of service, intentional relationships, and consistent presence, we believe transformation can happen.

What We Do

Prayer Walks

We walk the streets of Cloverdale's neighbourhoods, schools, parks, and business areas, asking God to move in power, bring peace, and open hearts to His love.

Community Events

We host and participate in public events to build bridges, foster connection, share the love of Christ, and change the narrative people have about churches.

Service Projects

From neighbourhood clean-ups to home repair projects, we roll up our sleeves to bless our city in practical ways.

Seasonal Outreach

From Christmas hampers to Easter events and back to school drives, we meet tangible needs during key moments throughout the year.

LET'S MAKE AN IMPACT FOR JESUS IN CLOVERDALE

We believe revival starts with love in action in our homes, neighbourhoods, and city streets. Join us as we Love Cloverdale in Jesus' name.
