Serving Our City with the Love of Jesus
Cloverdale isn't just where we gather. It's who we're called to love!

Love Cloverdale is our ongoing initiative to bless, serve, and reach the people in our neighbourhoods through acts of compassion, generosity, and practical support. As followers of Jesus, we believe we're called to be the hands and feet of Christ in our city, meeting real needs and pointing people to real hope.

COFFEE TIME ON MONDAYS

Serving coffee, hot chocolate, and offering prayer

On Monday mornings, we serve coffee and hot chocolate to food bank clients at our Love Cloverdale Coffee Time led by Jim Sawatsky. We start preparing the space and brewing the coffee at 9:30am, and we stay until noon when the last food bank client goes in. Our heart is to build relationships, offer prayer, and make people feel welcome at our church!

We want to create space for love, care, and the hope of the gospel. This is a unique opportunity for the mission field to come to us, and we want to be intentional about building relationships with the Sikhs, Muslims, and immigrants in our community.

We’d love to grow the team with those who feel called to serve in this way. We’re looking for people who are:

  • Available on Mondays from 9:30am–12:00pm

  • Friendly and enjoy meeting new people

  • Servant-hearted

  • Comfortable offering prayer

If you’re interested in being part of this meaningful outreach, or just want to learn more, please reach out to Diane for more info!

Let’s come together to share Christ’s love in simple, practical, and relational ways.

Why We Love Cloverdale

Our mission is to bring the light and love of Jesus beyond the walls of our church building. Cloverdale is full of familities, individuals, and stories. Some joyful, others broken. Through simple acts of service, intentional relationships, and consistent presence, we believe transformation can happen.

What We Do

Prayer Walks

We walk the streets of Cloverdale's neighbourhoods, schools, parks, and business areas, asking God to move in power, bring peace, and open hearts to His love.

Community Events

We host and participate in public events to build bridges, foster connection, share the love of Christ, and change the narrative people have about churches.

Service Projects

From neighbourhood clean-ups to home repair projects, we roll up our sleeves to bless our city in practical ways.

Seasonal Outreach

From Christmas hampers to Easter events and back to school drives, we meet tangible needs during key moments throughout the year.
