Our Pacific Kids Ministry (Nursery–Grade 5) continues to grow and as we enter a new season and get ready for the Fall, I want to personally invite you to our upcoming Volunteer Training (PART 2) on Sunday June 8  at 12 pm right after church for 1 hour.

Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or just curious about joining the team, we invite you to a Children’s Ministry Training designed to equip and encourage everyone working with kids from Nursery to Grade 5.

 When: 1 hour after church
 Duration: 1 hour roughly
 Where: Room 100
 Light snacks and childcare provided!

What You’ll Get:

  • Practical classroom tips for every age group
  • Curriculum overview made simple
  • Spiritual tools to help kids grow in faith
  • Scheduling & communication tools (yes — we’ll cover the volunteer app!)
  • Time to ask questions, share ideas, and connect with others who love serving kids

We also have a special guest speaker - Christine Notice!

Christine Notice is a Grade 2 teacher at Langley Christian School. She is a graduate of the University of Victoria and Western Montessori Teacher’s College. Previously, Christine has taught children in public and private Montessori schools from kindergarten to grade three. She has worked as the Children's Director at two churches, leading 100 volunteers and 180 children. She is passionate about empowering both children and adults to become aware of meeting their needs in a socially responsible manner, and how to develop a consciousness of the virtues within themselves.

Whether you're leading a preschool circle, greeting, or helping a third grader pray for the first time, this training will give you the confidence, tools, and heart to do it well — all for the glory of God.

Sign up today HERE! RSVP to pacifickids@pacificcommunity.ca or speak with Marisa or Liv. We would like to confirm the numbers as early as possible to arrange catering and childcare. Invite someone who you think may be interested! Come be part of what God is doing in the next generation!
