Legacy Youth Conference

LYC 2015!

We are once again headed to Calgary for the Legacy Youth Conference. This conference has been going for over 60 years and is put on by the students at Ambrose University College. 

The Rundown: There will be 5 big Rallies, with music a speaker and this will lead into discussion times with each of our individual groups. In the afternoon on Saturday and Sunday there will be a number of different options. We'll have the chance to go to sessions to learn more about God and what life with Him looks like, get involved in some ministry options, helping the homeless or serving around the city, or have some fun with different activities: playing laser tag, going swimming, roller skating...

We will stay overnight at the church on Thursday and start driving at about 4am Friday morning. We drive all day Friday and arrive in time for that evening's Rally. We'll be at the conference all weekend, staying in the residence Friday and Saturday nights. Sunday night we'll move to the Econolodge on Banff Trail before driving back on Monday morning.

Cost is $110 per person which covers the conference and some of the food. Extra money will be needed to pay for all meals on Friday, Breakfast Saturday and Sunday, dinner Sunday evening, and meals all day Monday.

We travel with both the Chilliwack and Yarrow Alliance Churches in a bus provided by All-Points Charter Bus company.
