Construction Hours Update:
Hospital Construction offsite work along 180th street begins April 16th, 2024 until the end of September 2024 from Monday to Saturday. There should be no disruption of traffic flow on Sunday mornings. Work onsite will occur from Monday to Sunday. 180th street will be reduced to single lane access throughout construction with traffic control for safety purposes. As expected, there will be regular construction noise during the construction period noted above.

As part of the hospital construction across from the church, 180th street is being widened and unfortunately, we are losing the 5 large maple trees which sit right on the property line.

Pastor Prince and Jordan Pousett (PCC’s Board Chair) met with Fraser Health and the contractor Ellis Don a couple of weeks ago to get an update on their plans. Pending tree permit formal issuance, please note that the trees are scheduled to be removed during the week of February 27 – March 1. Update: The tree removal is delayed due to permit applications.

Here are a few key details on the 180th Street Improvements project:

  • Tree removal first (delayed). Then Ellis Don (contractor) will complete phase 1 on the east side of the street.  No street parking during this phase.
  • Phase 2 on the west side of the street complete in the summer (May to June).
  • Phase 2 will include installation of the sidewalk.
  • There will always be at the least, single lane access on 180th Street.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Jordan Pousett HERE.
