Guest Speaker: Cres Casimong (Assistant District Superintendent – Intercultural Ministry & Licensing/Ordination)
Cres served as a pastor for 29 years. He recently served as Lead Pastor of New Life Alliance Church (North Vancouver and Surrey) for 21 years before joining the District in a role with a focus on Intercultural Ministry and Licensing and Ordination. Cres desires to see churches of different ethnicities embrace and put into practice the vision in the new creation of —“a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb” (Revelation 7:9).
Cres holds a PhD in Leadership from Carolina University (North Carolina). He is married to Ninia, lives in Surrey, BC, and is a proud father of three and grandfather of three. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and the occasional round of golf.
