PCC Women's Conference 2024

Join PCC Women and special guests, Melissa Heerebout & Helen Burns, as we spend a much needed day being spiritually (and physically) fed!  Through uplifting praise & worship, inspiring messages, and honest conversations, we'll learn about (and experience) what it means to be truly satisfied. We'll follow the example of three well-known women in Scripture as they encountered Jesus, and we'll consider His promise to meet our 'lack' with His 'plenty.' (Titus 3:5).

Wherever you're at in your spiritual journey, let's sit with Jesus, and let's be renewed, together.

Melissa Heerebout Bio
Like many women, Melissa spends her days wearing many different hats! She pastors at Burnett Church, and her role there includes discipleship, communications, and mission.  Melissa is all about Jesus + Community and is passionate about creativity, reaching her community, marriage, and motherhood.

With a deep love for Jesus and the church, Melissa desires to see women step into their calling in all areas of their lives! Women and men are called to lead and play a part in the story that God is telling, and Melissa is passionate about helping people understand and pursue their story in the kingdom. Over the last 20 years, Melissa has developed the skills needed in relational development, marketing, and management. She has worked in senior leadership for non-profit and for-profit sectors for ten years. As a talent manager and developer, Melissa honed her leadership acumen to train and build up teams. In 2016, she stepped into the role of Pastor and continues to serve the local church. In 2022, she completed training with Propel Ecclesia, and in the fall of 2023, Melissa began her Masters of Arts in Biblical Leadership. She and her husband Tim, their three kids, and their lovable lab Watson live in Maple Ridge, BC.

Helen Burns Bio
Helen is passionate about helping people build thriving relationships with God, in their marriages and families, as well as healthy church communities. She and her husband, John planted Relate Church in Surrey, BC in 1986, after John left his busy dental practice to become a full-time pastor.

They have experienced the faithfulness of God in their lives as He restored their hurting marriage. Today they continue to serve and are actively involved as Founding and Teaching Pastors at Relate Church. They also treasure the opportunity to travel  nationally and globally. Together they co-host the television program, 'Sex, Love & Relationships’ and have authored several bestselling books. 

This year, John and Helen are celebrating 50 years of marriage, have three incredible daughters and take the greatest joy in their eight awesome grandchildren.
