Personal Bio:
Rev Brad Strelau
Born and raised in Vancouver, Brad has been married for 28 years and is a proud father of two (22-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter). In the 1990s, he spent time in a boy band before working in education, and then following God’s call into pastoral ministry. For nearly 20 years, Brad has served as a pastor at CA Church, with the last 12 years leading the Town Centre Campus in central Coquitlam. He currently serves on the Canadian Pacific District Ordination Board and is a member of the board for the Canadian office of International Christian Response, a missions organization that supports the persecuted church worldwide.
Alongside ministry, Brad is currently pursuing a PhD with Wesley House, Cambridge, where his research explores the intersection of depression and the church—specifically how the practices of the Christian community can foster resilience for those navigating depression and anxiety.
