The board announced this past Sunday, that we are entering into a candidating period with Prince Thomas for our next Lead Pastor.  The candidating week will run from April 21st-28th.

Our first event will be Sunday April 21st after the Sunday service. We will plan to begin right around 11:45 and the board will be providing a light lunch.  Please plan to stay after the service to get to know Prince and Marisa better, hear about their call to ministry and to PCC.  Prince will also be speaking to the mission and vision at PCC and as well as some of the work surrounding the Key Result Areas as identified by our Health Assessment.  There will also be an opportunity for the congregation to engage in a question and answer time with Prince. Childcare will be provided during the meeting in room 100.

If you are unable to stay after the service on Sunday, we will also be hosting a second event to get to know Prince and Marisa better on Tuesday, April 23rd at 7pm in room 100This will mostly be a repeat of our Sunday meeting, so there is no need to attend both.

If you are unable to make it out to either of these meetings, but would like to join in online on Tuesday evening, please fill out this form, so we know who to send the link to.  We will have a board member moderating the online chat so you will also be able to ask questions of Prince.  After both meetings, you are welcome to come and chat with board members and ask questions of them or share your thoughts with them.

Prince will wrap up his candidating week on April 28th by preaching on Sunday morning.

If you have any feedback for the board during the candidating period, please feel free to send your thoughts to eldersboard@pacificcommunity.ca or speak to a board member in person.  We will be receiving feedback until May 1st.  The board will then go through a final discernment period with the district superintendent.

Please continue to hold PCC, Prince and Marisa, and the board in your prayers as we continue in this next step of our Lead Pastor search.
